(R) Agricultural Investment Program (TT0020): The program would include investments in irrigation drainage, property registries and land titling (with a geographic information system -- GIS). Funding would cover: (a) rehabilitation of drainage and construction of seasonal water catchments and primary irrigation systems to provide improved access to producers on private lands; (b) upgrade of the land and surveys titling and registry system; (c) investment in management training, equipment and other administrative infrastructure for land and water management; (d) institutional strengthening for the executing agency; and (e) marketing of non-traditional agricultural products. Estimated total cost: US$ 30 million. Environmental classification: Category 3. Impact assessment required. Status: In preparation stage. Loan amount: US$ 25 million. Procurement: Civil works would be required for the water catchment, delivery and drainage aspects of the program.
